WhiskersChase is a competitive local multiplayer arena game where two cats fight for control of a single prized fish. Set inside a lively room environment, players must chase, jump, and outmaneuver each other to keep the fish for as long as possible before the match timer runs out.
The game focuses on quick, chaotic rounds that are easy to understand but challenging to master. Players move across platforms, dodge their opponent, and use special power-ups to gain the advantage. One of these abilities allows players to freeze their rival temporarily, stopping their movement and animations to create the perfect opportunity to steal the fish.
To keep both players visible during intense chases, the game features a dynamic arena camera that follows the midpoint of both cats and adjusts its scale as they move apart. Camera boundaries ensure the action always stays inside the room without revealing empty background space.
Each match is governed by a countdown timer. When the timer reaches zero, the player currently holding the fish wins the round. If neither player has the fish, the match ends in a draw.
The game includes a full menu system with a main menu, level selection screen, settings panel, and credits. Players can toggle background music and sound effects, and enjoy responsive jump sound effects and looping background music that add energy to every match.
With simple controls, short match times, and playful cat-and-mouse gameplay, WhiskersChase is designed for quick competitive fun between friends.
